As an educator and a veteran of the war in Iraq I realize how much hometowns change.  I am moving forward, moving home to Michigan and want to find an old home to restore. Perserving history is part of the reasons I chose to be a History Teacher  after my time in the Army.  As a teacher I do not have a large income but I am moving from North Carolina to Michigan where I was raised so I can have an impact on the communities that helped shape me. 

Help me show my students that just because something is old, broken and needs help,  that it can still be beautiful and an asset to its community.
