Mikaela and I are very excited to be looking for our first home!!
I understand that everyone has been put through the ringer, especially these last few years, so I am not special. I am very grateful and lucky to have survived everything that has been thrown at us.
So, I am just going to get right down to the nitty gritty of it all.
The reason I am setting up this fundraiser, is because I unfortunately have crippling student loan debt. I mean, if you take the national average student loan debt, and multiplied it by 5, that amount would put a dent in it, but it still wouldn't cover my subsidized loans.
I do not regret spending money on my education, because it is the same thing that led me to the love of my life.
So, I am asking each and every one of you, very kindly, please help us to buy a very suitable first house of our dreams. This would greatly help to pay off MY HALF of the down payment and closing costs.
If I could get even 10% of the very ambitious goal I set, that would be amazingly helpful to me.
And if you can't contribute, no big deal! Even just sharing the post gets funds towards my goal!
I believe in karma and paying it forward, so hopefully one day in the future, I can also help some young recent graduates, or people in need of some extra help, to put a down payment on their future homes as well!
