What is a glider? If you have never shopped for baby nursery furniture this is probably not a term you have heard before.
A glider is a modern version of a rocking chair. It functions like a rocking chair in that you can sit in it to rock your baby to sleep but it looks more stylish – like an arm chair that you would have in your living room. Like the glider pictured above (on sale now at WayFair) there are some very cool sleek looking gliders that range from $300-$700+.
The intention in spending the extra money for the glider is that after your baby grows up, you can use it in another part of your house without it standing out as a specifically baby item.
But will you REALLY reuse it?
