No donations yet? No problem.

Here are three tips to help you get the ball rolling on your crowd funding campaign.

1. Share your page with friends and family on Facebook.

Sharing on Facebook is the absolute best way to reach out to those closest to you, and let them know what or who you are raising money for. Your friends and family will be the ones most willing to contribute, and also will be more likely to share your page with others.

Copy, paste & share your nest link now! Can’t find it? Look here.

2. Make sure your page looks great.

Does your photo represent what you are raising money for? Is your photo clear and formatted correctly? Is your nest description engaging and easy to read? Your nest is your first impression so it should be clear and make a strong connection with those reading it so they will want to donate.

3. Keep your vesters in the loop.

Once you do begin to receive donations, it’s very important to make your donator – we call them vesters –  feel like they’re a part of your story. Make sure to email them a thank you notes and post updates on your page to let them know how its going. Everyone likes feeling appreciated, and if you keep in touch vesters will be more likely to share your campaign with others.
